Cheese-making, champagne, dinner—and all the festive vibes? Yes, please!
With the holiday season in full swing, join us for a fun and hands-on evening where we’ll craft five simple, quick, and delicious vegan cheeses using everyday ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.
Class Details: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a refreshing non-alcoholic mimosa, then we’ll dive straight into dinner. And what’s on the menu? A hearty selection of Mel’s favourite pizzas, topped with her signature, melty vegan cheese!
After dinner, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get into cheese-making! You’ll have your own station set up with all the necessary equipment and ingredients, plus a recipe booklet to take home. Throughout the evening, you’ll create and taste four different cheeses, each chosen for their unique textures and flavours.
The cheeses you'll be making:
1. Baked Cashew Cheese with Native Pepper Berry
2. Soft Cranberry Festive Log with Miso and Thyme
3. Classic Toasted Almond and Apricot
4. Smokey Gouda-Style
Plus, as a bonus, you'll also enjoy a sample of Mel’s 5-minute Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Cheese—quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious. You’ll even get the recipe to take home with you!
Although this might be your first time making cheese, we know you’re no stranger to pairing cheese with bubbly! Feel free to bring your own alcoholic beverage to enjoy throughout the evening. If you need something, there’s a bottle shop on-site for your convenience. We also have a selection of sodas and juices to purchase.
What you’ll take home:
At the end of the class, you’ll not only have a satisfied stomach from dinner and cheese sampling, but you’ll also leave with the four cheeses you made and your very own recipe booklet. Plus, you'll walk away with the skills and confidence to recreate these recipes at home and impress your friends and family.
