100% VEGAN Horchata by Licor 43 is here! For the World Vegan Day launch, I was invited so make cocktails with the Licor 43 creamy horchata fusion. It uses tiger nut, spice & citrus for a dairy-free tipple delight! I’m so stoked to see a fully vegan dessert beverage now available because this one is extra delicious. I gave it a whirl in this Ice Coffee Horchata but it also rocks on the rocks!

Horchata Iced Coffee

1x 30ml shot fresh espresso

2x 30ml shots Licor 43 Horchata (dairy-free)

1 tablespoon coconut condensed milk (dairy-free)

1 cup cold soy or oat milk

Cinnamon sugar

Ice

Method

Add espresso to a tall serving glass and fill with ice. Pour over the Licor 43 Horchata and condensed milk and top with your choice of dairy-free milk. Shake cinnamon sugar on top and serve. Leave out the espresso for a lovely iced horchata.

Horchata Hot Chocolate

1 cup cold soy or oat milk

2x 30ml shots Licor 43 Horchata (dairy-free)

1x 30ml shot vanilla vodka

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

35g dark chocolate, broken up

Dairy-free whipped creamt

Method

In a small sauce pan, heat up the milk. Add cocoa and break up 30g of the chocolate into the milk. Whisk until melted. Remove from heat and add in horchata and vodka. Serve with whipped cream and the remaining dark chocolate grated on top.
